Ogni Musica ha delle storie dietro di sè. Storie di vite di compositori, esecutori, trascrittori... Ogni progetto musicale sia esso un concerto o una registrazione ha dietro di sè una gran quantità di storie raramente raccontate. Con la serie di Newsletter "Le Storie dietro la Musica" vogliamo raccontarvele.
Cominciamo con Praeconium Solitudinis, il lavoro multimediale di Enrico Gatti
che il violinista ha voluto fortemente legare ad una dimensione
analogica, fisica, tangibile, limitandone la pubblicazione alle sole
versioni in Mediabook e in doppio CD e non in digitale o streaming. Nel
video sottostante potrete sentire direttamente dalla voce di questo
enorme musicista e pensatore quali sono gli stimoli e il repertorio che
lo hanno condotto a portare a termine Praeconium Solitudinis in
trent'anni di lavoro lento e profondo. Il formato è un Mediabook ossia
un vero e proprio libro fotografico di 90 pagine contenente le foto di Silvia Camporesi
e i testi scritti, scelti e selezionati da Enrico Gatti che
accompagnano in stazioni di ascolto e meditazione la scaletta dei due
dischi composta da brani per violino solo di compositori del Seicento e
del Settecento.

Let’s start with Praeconium Solitudinis, the multimedia work by Enrico Gatti that the violinist wanted strongly link to an anological, physical, tangible dimension, limiting the publication to the versions as Mediabook and double CD and not as digital and streaming Album. In the video below you can hear directly from the voice of this huge musician and thinker wich are the origins and repertoire that led him to complete Praeconium Solitudinis in thirty years of slow and deep work. The format is a Mediabook, a 90 pages photo book containing the photos by Silvia Camporesi and the texts, written and selected by Enrico Gatti. The structure of Praeconium Solitudinis is a kind of "promenade" from the first to the last track of the 2 CDs with compositions for solo violin from the Seventeenth and Eighteenth centuries accompanied by the Photos and the texts.
