"Sniper Alley - To My Brother" is an Italian documentary written by Cristiana Lucia Grilli and co-directed with Francesco Toscani that tells the story of Džemil Hodžić and his project to preserve the photographic memory of the Siege of Sarajevo (1992-1996), called "Sniper Alley Project." Through the personal tragedy of Džemil, who witnesses the death of his 16-year-old brother Amel at the hands of a sniper, the documentary explores childhood interrupted by war and the ability of art to transform pain into memory and resistance. The film is a tribute to Amel, who dreamed of becoming an artist, and to all the children who, despite the war, continue to dream.

The teaser of "Sniper Alley - To My Brother" was launched in Bosnia on May 3, 2024, and was widely covered by major Bosnian news outlets. The premiere of Sniper Alley – To My Brother took place on August 18, 2024, at the 30th edition of the prestigious Sarajevo Film Festival, where it was met with great success among both the public and critics."
