The contralto Candida Guida and the pianist Eufemia Manfredi dedicated their debut Album to the unknown, wonderful composer Luigi Guida, one of the last "maestri di cappella" of the "scuola napoletana". He was a priest and his lifelong working as composer of sacred music as well as chamber music with a big attention for the human voice. This recording is a surprise for the lovers of the italian melodism that Guida connects in his music with the impressions and influences from the music of the first half of the XX Century.
